Ardich (80% SSR owned) is an exciting near-surface oxide gold deposit located approximately 6km northeast of the Çöpler Gold Mine. A maiden Mineral Resource was announced in December 2018, and an updated Mineral Resource was issued in November 2019, confirming that the ongoing step-out drilling program significantly extended the mineralization.
Exploration has been focused on determining the extent of the viable mineralized target rather than infill drilling for resource conversion. The latest interim Mineral Resource extends approximately 1.4 km along a NW/SE strike, representing areas with enough drill density to define a resource. Surface mapping indicates the mineralized target could extend beyond 2 km.
The Ardich Mineral Resource continues to demonstrate the oxide ore prospectivity from the Çöpler District. In parallel to continuing to define and grow Ardich, work is underway to determine options for a starter pit, as well as advancing requirements for permitting and project development. This work will be a part of the updated Technical Report that is expected to be released in Q4 2020.
